Peter Ryan was the best of the Aussie Non Pros in todays Limited Non Pro Final

A score of 208 was good enough for a top ten finish allowing Ryan to collect around $8,000 US for his efforts. Interstingly that was only $1500 less the actual winner prize cheque. Amelia Tonkin finished equal 14th scoring 205 on her mount Ear N A Hat and NCHA Vice President Peter Schumack finished equal 19th in a field of 34.

Tomorrow US time we’ll see Tom Williamson and Peter Ryan compete in the Amatuer Non Pro Final. There will be no Aussies competing in the Non Pro Futurity.

As usual there will be a strong Aussie representation in the Open Futurity Semi Finals with Darren Simpkins, John Mitchell, Roger Wagner and Tony Piggott with two rides each. Eddie Flynn, Goeffrey Sheehan, Matt Sargood, Sean Flynn and Todd Graham all have one chance to make the 2011 NCHA Futurity Final. A total of 76 entries will compete in Saturdays Semi Final.
